Asian Legal Business Names Marcia Ellis Dealmaker of Asia 2022

Morrison Foerster partner and Global Co-Chair of the firm's Private Equity Practice Marcia Ellis has been named Dealmaker of Asia 2022 by Asian Legal Business (ALB). This marks the third consecutive year Marcia is recognized as Dealmaker of Asia.

Marcia is one of the most experienced and sophisticated private equity lawyers active in the Asian market. Known as a “super-skilled technical lawyer” with “incredible problem-solving skills on all aspects of matters,” she has advised clients on deals with a total aggregate value in excess of US$237 billion in the past three years.

In 2022, Marcia was named to Law360’s 2022 Private Equity Editorial Board and IFLR1000’s Women Leaders 2022, and under her leadership, the MoFo Private Equity Group was for the first time ever named 2021 PrivateEquity Group of the Year by Law360.
