This event brings together class action and mass tort practitioners to hear valuable insights from a prestigious faculty of speakers and panelists, including sitting federal judges and top defense and plaintiffs’ attorneys. The Class Action Law Forum benefits the University’s Keith F. Park Endowed Scholarship Fund.
On March 15, Jessica Grant will speak on the “5 Key Takeaways from Trials in 2022: A Continuation from our 2022 Forum” panel. Julie Park and Claudia Vetesi will be on the “Product Liability and Consumer Food Labeling” panel, followed by David McGowan who will discuss “Ethics Upended: The Unique Framework for Class Action Ethics.” James Sigel will participate in the “Appellate Panel,” and to close out the evening, Erin Bosman will give a presentation on “Class Action Waivers, Arbitration Clauses,” followed by Bill Tarantino, who will deliver a “Quick Hit: ESG” talk.
On March 16, Purvi Patel will speak on the “Privacy Class Actions” panel and Tiffany Cheung will discuss “Notice, Damages and Class Certifications.”
