The San Francisco Business Times has recognized MoFo corporate partner Christopher C. McKinnon as one of its 40 Under 40 for 2025, celebrating the “brightest young leaders in the local business community.” Chris was chosen from more than 300 nominees to a list that includes bankers, founders, funders, scientists, and entrepreneurs. Speaking to his success, Chris was also recently named a Rising Star by Venture Capital Journal.
In his practice, Chris advises venture capital and private equity firms in their most significant and challenging investment transactions. He also advises technology startups throughout their lifecycle, from formation to capital raising to exit. Before rejoining MoFo, Chris advised a leading global investment firm, as associate general counsel and legal director, on domestic and cross-border investment and M&A transactions.
