MoFo Germany Receives PMN Award for ESG/Sustainability

The Berlin office of Morrison Foerster received the PMN Management Award in the category of “ESG/Sustainability” for its work on the pro bono alliance, The Chancery Lane Project (TCLP), which is also supported by other German law firms. The award was announced at the 2024 PMN Management Awards Gala on 18 September 2024.

For over a decade, the PMN Management Awards have been recognizing and celebrating groundbreaking achievements in management and business services within commercial law firms and multidisciplinary firms. These prestigious awards not only highlight the innovative strength and professionalism of the recipients, but also strive to promote the growth and successes of law firm management.

TCLP is an international initiative that brings together legal professionals from various countries, including Germany, to join forces and develop new contract clauses and checklists to combat climate change. By establishing a legal framework rooted in market practices, the project aims to empower businesses to make a positive and enduring impact on the environment.

MoFo Germany, represented by counsel Monika Obal, supports TCLP’s International Transposition Project by peer reviewing clauses for the corporate working group.

Monika’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and on general corporate matters.
