Adam Hunt and Evan Minsberg Named as Rising Stars by The New York Law Journal
MoFo partners Adam Hunt and Evan Minsberg have been named as 2024 Rising Stars on The New York Law Journal’s annual list of the region’s most promising lawyers aged 40 and younger. Rising Star honorees are selected based on nominations of attorneys aged 40 and under who have established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities.
Adam Hunt, a partner in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s New York office, focuses his practice on complex litigation, with an emphasis on class action defense and commercial disputes. He has extensive experience representing consumer products companies, financial institutions, and technology firms before state and federal trial courts, as well as in arbitrations. He has represented clients facing claims under false advertising, antitrust, and privacy laws, securing wins at the pleading stage, summary judgment, and trial, in addition to negotiating favorable settlements, often early in the case. Additionally, Adam is an editor of the firm’s Class Dismissed blog, and is a significant contributor to MoFo’s pro bono program, serving as a member of MoFo’s Pro Bono Committee.
Evan Minsberg, a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Financial Services Group and co-chair of MoFo’s Interactive + Digital Media Group, advises fintechs, banks, e-commerce platforms, gaming platforms, and other tech and financial service providers on developing new products, services, and strategic partnerships. Evan provides practical regulatory and transactional support for a variety of payments, credit, and other financial technology business models. Evan’s focus includes payment processors, money transmitters, bank and fintech partnership arrangements, marketplaces, and other online and app-based financial service providers. Outside of his client work, Evan contributes meaningfully to fintech and payment adjacent legal and compliance discussions across the industry, and he is also committed to assisting in MoFo’s pro bono work.
