Lisa Phelan spoke with Law360 about the civil jury trial of the nation’s largest chicken suppliers for price-fixing and other antitrust violations.
Lisa noted that the plaintiffs initially alleged a 15-year conspiracy, but Judge Durkin narrowed the scope of alleged anti-competitive conduct to four years, driving down the potential damages.
“It might show why Sanderson is willing to fight,” she said. “Now that the scope is narrowed, there’s a lot less at stake.”
