MoFo’s Maureen Ho Recognized as a Law.com International Private Equity Rising Star in Asia

Hong Kong Private Equity partner Maureen Ho has been honored by Law.com International on its first-ever list of Private Equity Rising Stars: 10 Lawyers in Asia to Watch. In its inaugural list, Law.com International highlights its top 10 next generation private equity lawyers in Asia who are still under 40 and have demonstrated their “business acumen,” “proven successes in book-building and fostering new client relationships,” as well as “personal strategy and vision” to “build their brand and business.”

As a highly active dealmaker in the market, Maureen has advised clients on transactions with an aggregate deal value of over US$116 billion in the past year alone. Some of her stellar list of market-leading private equity clients include SoftBank, GLP, Ascendent Capital Partners, Macquarie, and FWD, among others.

This recognition is the latest in a series of honors that Maureen has received in 2023, proving her talent and achievement in the private equity realm. She was recently named as a Law360 Rising Star and honored by  AsianLegal Business (ALB) on its list of Hong Kong Rising Stars. International Financial Law Review (IFLR) also recognized Maureen as a 2022 Rising Star in Asia Pacific for the second consecutive year. In addition, Maureen was recognized by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022‒2023 and shortlisted as a Future Leader ‒ Gender Diversity at Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Asia Pacific Awards in 2020.
