2024 Bench & Bar Conference

The 2024 Bench & Bar Conference will be held from Wednesday, June 19 – Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Wild Dunes Resort, in Isle of Palms, SC. The Conference will feature an extensive, coordinated, effort to discuss the important issues confronting the Federal Circuit community. Panelists will include star appellate practitioners, Federal Circuit, government, and district judges, and corporate lawyers who are experts in their respective fields.

On June 20, Morrison Foerster partner Daralyn Durie will speak on the "Gender in the Courtroom: How Jurors and Judges Perceive Female Attorneys and Witnesses" panel. The panel will explore gender disparity among appellate advocates from the private bar and the biases female attorneys and witnesses face in the courtroom.

On June 21, Brian Nash, co-chair of Morrison Foerster’s global IP Litigation Group, will speak on the "Standing Orders, Disclosure & Litigation Funding" panel. The panel will standing orders and how they impact litigation from the bench’s perspective.
