Michael is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the firm's Securities Litigation and Securities Enforcement groups. He represents corporations and their officers and directors in securities class actions, derivative suits, and other complex commercial litigation. His experience includes defending claims arising under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act, the Securities Litigation Uniform Standards Act, and state common law, including breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
Michael also represents public and private companies in internal and government-facing investigations involving accounting and disclosure issues and fraud allegations. He has represented clients across a range of industries, including financial services, technology, manufacturing, and logistics.
