Kilian advises clients on complex proceedings before state courts and possibilities for alternative dispute resolutions, often regarding international and cross-border disputes. His practice focuses on disputes in the areas of media and commercial law as well as on post-M&A proceedings.
He holds a Master’s degree in dispute resolution from the University of Cape Town. During his studies in Berlin, Kilian also specialized in intellectual property and data protection law. Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, he worked as a research assistant and trainee solicitor in the field of technology, media, and telecommunications at a leading German law firm and at the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, among others.
