Bay Area, California: We launched in San Francisco more than 125 years ago. 30+ years ago MoFo opened its doors in Palo Alto to serve the dynamic Silicon Valley community. Together, they serve at the epicenter of the most recent technology revolution. Both offices offer full‑service corporate, finance, intellectual property, and litigation capabilities to clients at all stages of development providing advice in transactions, regulatory programs, and contentious matters.

New York: A global center for business, finance, and media, New York is strategically located for many of our financial services, real estate, intellectual property, and corporate clients. All major practice areas are represented here, with our legal teams providing legal and business advice through a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach. 

Washington, D.C.: Home to some of the most powerful and influential players in both government and the private sector, our D.C. office provides regulatory, corporate, litigation, and intellectual property counsel on behalf of financial institutions, investors, entrepreneurs, and Fortune 500 and technology companies. Many have joined us after years in government. We combined our Northern Virginia office with our new state-of-the-art D.C. office in January 2021. Having our attorneys in the region in one office enables us to further increase collaboration across teams, provide even better service to our clients, and showcase the breadth of our capabilities.

Southern California: Located in one of the country’s most dynamic business regions, our Los Angeles and San Diego offices advise a diverse group of private and public companies in clean tech, electronics, entertainment and media, life sciences, medical technology, real estate, and venture and institutional investors.

Denver: Our Denver office focuses on public and private financing, licensing, purchasing, and litigation. We serve as a vital link for Front Range clients across a spectrum of industries, from pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, to gaming and retail.

Boston: Our Boston office extends our reach into a growing and dynamic technology and life sciences market. We represent emerging and established companies in global matters involving business, finance, IP, and litigation.

Austin: Our new office, in Austin, the firm’s 17th office globally, provides companies, including emerging companies, and investors in the technology, life sciences, and healthcare sectors, access to Morrison Foerster’s full-service platform and global network, with a focus on IP litigation and transactional matters.
