Brad Wine was featured in the Faces of Legal Innovators video series, discussing Morrison Foerster’s partnership with Legal Innovators, an Alternative Legal Service Provider that is changing the way the law approaches hiring, pricing, inclusion, and diversity of junior legal talent.

“Morrison Foerster has been a leader in and committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our law firm for quite some time,” Brad said. “In order to continue to make progress in that regard, we realized that we needed to do more than just continue to recruit in the same manner that we have historically recruited. Typically, for junior associates, we hire primarily through our summer associate program, and Legal Innovators allows us to go outside of that program and have access to a significantly larger pool of highly qualified candidates, and let them come in and work with us in the ordinary course as attorneys so that we get a chance of exploring and cultivating their capabilities, working with them for a period of time to see if they are a right fit for us and vice versa.”

Thanks to this partnership, the firm has so far welcomed four Legal Innovators Fellows into offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
