Haima Marlier was a guest on the Marketplace Morning Report podcast, discussing Gary Gensler’s expected appointment to head the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he is expected to put an end to the four years of rule-easing that Wall Street banks, brokers, funds, and public companies have enjoyed during the Trump administration.

“A broken windows enforcement strategy pursues even minor securities laws violations to send a strong enforcement message to would-be wrongdoers and to the markets,” Haima said.
