Crain’s New York Business has named Morrison Foerster partners Carrie H. Cohen and Jamie A. Levitt to its list of Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys for 2025. Crain’s called the 84 honorees on the list “a talented cohort, shaping precedent and advocating for their clients across industries and issues.” The publication also noted that New York has more lawyers than any other state, numbering 9.6 attorneys for every 1,000 residents.
Carrie is global co-chair of MoFo’s Investigations + White-Collar Defense practice and State + Local Government Enforcement team. She is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) and former Assistant Attorney General for the New York State Attorney General’s Office. She has extensive trial experience and a distinguished record of success in high-stakes, white-collar matters.
Jamie is managing partner of MoFo’s New York office and co-chair of the Securities Litigation Group. She is also the former head of the New York Litigation Department and a former co-chair of both the firm’s Complex Litigation and Trial Groups. She has represented public companies and their officers and directors in securities fraud actions, shareholder derivative suits, and regulatory investigations.
