(March 25, 2025) – Morrison Foerster is pleased to announce the arrival of Scott Behar as a partner in the Mergers + Acquisitions Group in the Transactions Department, based in the New York office. Behar brings to the firm nearly two decades of experience representing high-profile public and private technology clients in a variety of U.S. and cross-border transactions, including mergers, investments, stock and asset acquisitions, and divestitures.
“Scott is a strong addition to the firm, bringing tremendous experience focused exclusively on advising on prominent technology M&A transactions on both the East and West Coasts,” said Spencer Klein, co-chair of the firm’s global Mergers + Acquisitions Group. “The continued growth of our M&A practice, particularly reinforcing our tech M&A capabilities, is a key strategic focus for the firm and the M&A Group.”
Behar joins Morrison Foerster from another leading international firm, where he was a partner and, for over a decade, focused his practice exclusively on technology M&A deals and clients, including the representation of public and private acquirers of venture-backed technology companies, and venture-capital-backed private companies in exit transactions. He has led numerous large sell-side exits for marquee companies, as well as numerous buy-side deals for serial technology acquirers.
“Morrison Foerster is a technology industry leader with exceptional transactional capabilities, making it the ideal platform to grow my tech-focused M&A practice both in New York and on the West Coast,” said Behar. “I’m incredibly excited to collaborate with the firm’s fantastic M&A, ECVC, and Technology Transactions practitioners.”
