David Newman spoke to Global Investigations Review about rejoining Morrison Foerster as co-chair of the firm’s national security and crisis management groups. David also shared his thoughts on how national security enforcement will play out under the Trump administration.
David said his return to Morrison Foerster feels like a “homecoming”. From 2017 to 2021, he helped jumpstart the firm’s crisis management practice and bulk up its growing national security and regulatory practices. His return to private practice also comes as companies are facing growing uncertainty about global enforcement risks.
“It's just an absolutely critical time to advise clients trying to navigate an incredibly complex and changing geopolitical environment,” said David.
