Krista deBoer talked to Bloomberg Law for the article “Carbon Neutral Claims Face New Scrutiny Under California Law” on the new greenwashing law that requires companies claiming that products they sell in California are carbon neutral to prove it starting from January 1, 2025.
Krista noted, ”The depth that’s required by AB 1305 is really uncertain. It appears to require these high-level disclosures but what we’re waiting to see is the way enforcement will unfold.”
