Morrison Foerster advised Aechelon Technology, Inc., a Sagewind Capital portfolio company that provides image generation software and complex databases to the Department of Defense, in connection to its acquisition of Compro’s highly-regarded Radar Toolkit® (RTK), along with all associated assets, contracts, software, and intellectual property.
The acquisition enhances Aechelon’s capabilities in radar simulation technology, building on existing programs with a smooth and seamless transition. Aechelon plans to tightly integrate the RTK with its own industry-leading GPU-based Radar Data Generator products. This is Aechelon’s first acquisition since receiving an investment from Sagewind Capital in August 2024.
The MoFo team advising Aechelon was led by Denver mergers + acquisitions partner Chere See and Washington, D.C. government contracts partner Damien Specht, with support from Miami corporate associate Ludovica Gardani-Menendez, Boston technology transactions associate Matthew Blum, and Washington, D.C. government contracts associates Nicole Giles and Caitlin Crujido.
