Law360 Names Justin Salon as an MVP of the Year for Capital Markets
Law360 has named Justin Salon, global chair of Morrison Foerster’s Capital Markets practice, as an MVP of the Year for Capital Markets. The award recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high stakes transactions.
Justin leads an international team of attorneys who represent issuer, underwriter, and investor clients in transactions spanning a broad spectrum of industries. He also serves as primary outside counsel to numerous public company clients on corporate governance issues, compliance with U.S. federal securities laws, and the requirements of the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.
Justin was recognized for leading landmark deals such as advising Arm Holdings on its $5.22 billion initial public offering in September 2023, which is, to date, the largest IPO since 2021. Among other top transactions, he also represented Cartica Acquisition Corp, a special purpose business acquisition company, in its definitive agreement and plan of merger with Nidar Infrastructure Limited. The pre-transition equity value of Nidar, India’s leading data center provider for AI and high-performance computing services, is approximately $2.75 billion.
At MoFo, Justin is also a member of the firm’s global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Steering Committee.
