Marcia Ellis Named to GPCA Legal & Regulatory Council
The Global Private Capital Association (GPCA) has named Marcia Ellis, partner and global co-chair of MoFo’s Private Equity practice, to its Legal & Regulatory Council. The GPCA has ten Leadership Councils that aim to provide a senior-level forum in the global markets context to exchange information and share best practices and actionable advice, as well as build connections for future investment opportunities.
The Councils also aim to advise GPCA on issues that investors are facing while helping to identify priority content, programs and initiatives that will meet the needs of members. Additionally, they engage with GPCA senior leadership, fellow Council members, institutional investors and other stakeholders to advance understanding of opportunities, advocate for solutions to challenges and share lessons learned and case study examples.
Founded in 2004 as the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA), the GPCA is a non-profit, independent membership organization representing private capital investors who manage more than US$2 trillion in assets across Asia, Latin America, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
