Morrison Foerster has been named as a finalist in two categories at the 2024 Legal Business Awards. Now in its 27th edition, the Legal Business Awards celebrate and recognize the achievements of those working in the legal sector.
MoFo’s London Corporate team was named as a finalist in the “Corporate Team of the Year” category for their role advising on the UK aspects in its role wider role acting as lead global advisor to Arm Holdings plc, the world’s leading semiconductor IP company, on its blockbuster $5.22 billion listing on Nasdaq, the largest IPO of 2023 globally.
MoFo was also named as a finalist in the “Marketing Initiative of the Year” category for its work launching MoFounders: an exciting new brand and ecosystem for founders, investors and advisors to meet and do business. The initiative, led by London partner Steven James, supports entrepreneurs and the scale-up community with not only legal guidance but everything they need to thrive. Through an innovative, multi-channel, integrated campaign of events, podcasts and videocasts, MoFounders shares insights from successful entrepreneurs and business owners and provides members with the opportunity to network with some of the UK’s most influential business minds. The initiative has facilitated many new opportunities and deals for those in our community and is helping to shape the EC/VC landscape through events like the “MoFounders Pitch Day” which took place in June and invited founders seeking seed or Series A financing to pitch to a panel of London-based advisors, venture capitalists, and investors.
