Morrison Foerster advised KKR, a global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions, on government contracts and national security matters in connection to its agreement with Broadcom Inc. to acquire its End-User Computing Division (the “EUC Division”) in a transaction valued at approximately $4 billion.
The former EUC Division is now a standalone company called Omnissa, with greater access to growth capital and a dedicated strategic focus on empowering customers and partners worldwide with innovative digital workspace solutions.
The MoFo team advising KKR was led by Washington D.C. partner Damien Specht, with support from partner Charles Capito and associates Nicole Giles and Caitlin Crujido.
