Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is fundamental to Morrison Foerster (“MoFo”). Our inclusion as a finalist in the Diversity & Inclusion Law Firm of the Year category reflects MoFo’s global commitment to D&I and the work our offices in Asia, especially in Hong Kong, have been doing to lead the way in promoting D&I environments. From partnering with the community to spearheading internal initiatives, MoFo Asia strives to be a model for diversity. For us, D&I is essential to who we are as a firm, and it is something we live day in and day out, not just in one-off programming.
MoFo’s Band 1 TMT team, led by partners Gordon Milner and Chuan Sun, has been shortlisted six times as “Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Law Firm of the Year.” The 2024 shortlist also marks our third consecutive year the firm has been highlighted in the “Regulation and Investigations Law Firm of the Year” and “Tax and Trusts Law Firm of the Year” categories. MoFo’s Regulation and Investigations team in Hong Kong is led by Hong Kong managing partner Timothy Blakely and partner Chen Zhu, while our tax practice is headed by partner Matthew Lau.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on September 13. More information about the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2023 is available on the ALB’s website.
