Andrew Turnbull spoke to Law360 regarding plans from Project 2025, a prominent conservative organization’s playbook for a potential incoming Republican administration, to drastically scale back federal civil rights agencies’ ability to enforce workplace antidiscrimination laws.
Despite former U.S. president and Republican nominee Donald Trump not being officially involved with Project 2025, Andrew said there’s a possibility that quite a few of the proposals would be implemented, should he win the White House.
“If Trump is elected, he may end up ultimately adopting many of these initiatives,” he said. “And some of the stuff they're suggesting here would reshape significant areas of employment law.”
