MoFo’s Andrew Kissner Recognized as a Law360 Rising Star

Law360 has named MoFo of counsel Andrew Kissner on its annual Rising Star list, noting his talent in business restructuring and insolvency and his dedication to pro bono work. The list recognizes the achievements of law practitioners under 40 whose “legal accomplishments transcend their age.”

Andrew recently represented an ad hoc group of bondholders for both the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its building authority in the first cases brought under the 2016 Puerto Rico Oversight, Management and Economic Stability Act. He also represented the official committee of unsecured creditors of Wesco Aircraft Holdings in its bankruptcy petition. Andrew conducted depositions and investigated a two-step liability management transaction to restructure its capital and cross-examined a witness during a lengthy trial over the transaction.
