Morrison Foerster has once again taken the top honor at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2024, being named Women in Business Law International Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year. MoFo was also again named Firm of the Year: U.S. – West, the second consecutive year the firm received that honor. Additionally, MoFo was named the Diverse Women Lawyers International Firm of the Year and Pro-Bono Work International Firm of the Year. The awards recognize high-achieving woman lawyers and progressive law firms that best support women in law.

Erin Bosman was named Product Liability Lawyer of the Year, the third time she has been recognized as the winner in this category. Erin is chair of MoFo’s Class Actions and Mass Torts Practice Group and is a founder and co-head of the Artificial Intelligence Group. Clients value her business strategy, seeking her comprehensive counsel throughout the product life cycle, especially in high-stakes litigation and product recalls. Erin’s clients value her litigation acumen, retaining her as national coordinating and trial counsel in product and class action cases and multijurisdictional and multidistrict proceedings. She navigates complex business relationships and serves as a defense liaison counsel in cases where multiple defendants have conflicting defenses. Erin maintains a robust advisement practice, drawing on her litigation experience to counsel clients on product development, risk mitigation strategies, and crisis management.
Daphne Higgs was named Technology Lawyer of the Year. Daphne, partner in MoFo’s Palo Alto office and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group, has more than 20 years of experience practicing in the technology sector. A trusted advisor to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies, Daphne possesses a unique ability to strategically and creatively tackle complex issues relating to cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, quantum computing, cloud offerings, open source, extended reality, and digital media. Daphne has previously been named a 2023 Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal and one of the “Women Leaders in Tech Law” by The Recorder.
Sheryl Janet George was named Litigation Rising Star. Sheryl is an up-and-coming lawyer in MoFo’s New York FCPA + Global Anti-Corruption and Investigations + White Collar Defense Groups. She focuses her practice on internal and government-facing investigations, white-collar defense matters, regulatory and global compliance, including compliance due diligence for corporate transactions, as well as complex commercial disputes. Sheryl has particular experience in matters involving Asia, having previously served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor/State Counsel in the Criminal Justice Division, Financial and Technology Crime Division, and the Advocacy Group of the Singapore Attorney-General’s Chambers.
