Morrison Foerster was recognized with two awards at the 2024 Asia Legal Awards, presented by Law.com International. The Asia Legal Awards celebrate the most complex and outstanding legal work in the region.

Morrison Foerster was named TMT Firm of the Year due to its involvement in market-shaping technology, media, and telecommunications deals in 2023 and its work assisting leading TMT clients in their complex, cutting-edge regulatory challenges. The deals include advising Arm Holdings plc (“Arm”) as the issuer in connection with Arm’s IPO, with the Asia TMT and deal teams led by Ken Siegel and Jesse Gillespie, and partners Marcia Ellis and Andrew Meyer handling China-related matters. Additionally, the firm advised Roblox in the structuring and establishment of its joint venture with Tencent (Luobu), the launch and ongoing operations of the Roblox platform, and the management and cultivation of its associated community of creators in China, with the TMT team led by Gordon Milner. Furthermore, Morrison Foerster advised Toshiba Corporation on its US$15 billion take-private transaction by a Japanese consortium led by private equity firm Japan Industrial Partners, with the deal team in Asia led by Ken Siegel and Jeremy White.
MoFo was awarded the Securities Deal of the Year for its role advising Arm in connection with Arm’s IPO on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. With a total deal value of approximately $5.22 billion, this was the largest U.S.-based IPO in 2023.
