Chelsea Kehrer was featured in a Los Angeles Times article covering the settlement in favor of the plaintiffs in the case of Cayla J. v. State of California, in which over a dozen plaintiff students filed a lawsuit against the state of California claiming they were denied educational equality with remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This settlement has some strong accountability measures that should help ensure students get the resources they need,” said Chelsea.
