MoFo advised U.S.- and Brazil-based mobile security provider Incognia in connection with its recent Series B financing round with its existing investors, Valor, Point72, Prosus, and a new initial investment by Bessemer Venture Partners.
Incognia acts to secure the personal data of its clients’ database, enhancing their mobile revenue and reducing fraud losses, which is a current major global concern. Their technology combines GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and network signals to pinpoint devices with apartment-level accuracy, unlocking the benefits of location for mobile authentication. They currently secure over 200 million unique devices globally, increasing an average of six times the return on investment of their respective clients.
The MoFo team advising Incognia on the deal was led by Miami-based Latin America Desk co-chair Randy Bullard, together with associate Astrid Muharram and visiting international associate Giovana Silva.
