Lisa Phelan spoke with Global Competition Review about the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) dropping its last remaining criminal no-poach charges.
Lisa noted that the DOJ does not typically drop criminal cases unless there is a major shift in evidence or the law, which is not apparent in this instance.
“Perhaps they are anxious to free up prosecutor resources to move on to other, higher priority cartel matters,” Lisa said. “We may never know, but it is highly unusual.”
