Bloomberg Law quoted Brian Nash and Regan Rundio from a recent blog post discussing In re: Tiktok, Inc. 5th Circ.,23-5075.
“The convenience of witnesses who will have to travel significant distances regardless of how transfer is ruled on—like those coming from abroad—must still be given substantial weight,” the authors wrote.
They noted the ruling, in addition to helping patent defendants in Asia, could also be a boon for “those in Europe seeking transfer to the East Coast.”
