Morrison Foerster has taken the top honor at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2023, being named Women in Business Law International Firm of the Year. MoFo was also named as Firm of the Year: U.S. – West. The awards recognize high achieving woman lawyers and progressive law firms that best support women in law.

Allyson Bennett was named Copyright Lawyer of the Year. She represents companies, large and small, in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit counseling and investigation, through trial and appeal. Allyson has litigated a wide range of complex copyright and trademark cases, including cases involving e-commerce platforms, social networks, and television studios. She regularly helps companies navigate business challenges arising from copyright and trademark issues in an increasingly digital world. Clients turn to her to handle trailblazing litigation where copyright and trademark law meets digital technologies. Her advice is frequently sought by major technology companies on avoiding infringing the rights of others and she has served as counsel in a number of precedent-setting copyright infringement cases.
Rose Lee was named IP Rising Star. A future leader of the IP bar, Rose has litigated a wide range of complex technology cases for global clients in U.S. federal courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission. The technologies at issue in her matters have spanned areas such as AI, semiconductors, network security, computer software, video encoding, underwater imaging, electrostatic digital printing, and medical devices, among others. Rose regularly works as lead associate on MoFo’s most complex IP litigation matters, drafting briefs, handling all aspects of discovery, and cross-examination for major IP cases at the forefront of the technology industry.
