Yemi Tépé named Lawyer of the Year for Banking & Finance at The Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2023

Yemi Tépé, Global Co-chair of the Finance Group, named Lawyer of the year for Banking & Finance at The Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2023. The series, hosted by The Legal 500, one of the industry’s most prominent research and ranking directories, celebrated Southeast Asia’s leading legal talent and recognized teams and individuals whose work has exceeded expectations and raised industry standards over the past year.

Yemi Tépé has over 22 years of experience advising clients on the full spectrum of event‑driven financings and private equity buyouts. She has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border acquisition and leveraged finance, public to private takeovers, real estate finance, debt restructuring, margin loans and subscription line finance. Her clients include leading international banks and financial institutions, alternative financiers such as private credit funds and direct lenders, private equity sponsors, multinational corporations and asset managers. She has represented clients in their significant transactions in Singapore, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, mainland China, the United States and Europe.
