Lawyers of Color Names Samantha Rose to its Hot List 2022

Lawyers of Color has named Samantha Rose to their Hot List 2022. The publication recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys who have demonstrated excellence in their respective practice areas. The honorees are chosen by a selection committee that spends months reviewing nominations and researching bar publications and legal blogs. The committee also hand-selects attorneys who have noteworthy accomplishments and were actively involved in diversity pipeline initiatives.

Samantha Rose is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Transactional Department. Her practice focuses on advising clients on domestic and cross-border corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments/venture financings, and corporate governance.

Samantha also has an active role in the firm’s pro bono efforts, recently working on the California Small Enterprise Task Force (CASE Force), a consortium of legal, financial, and nonprofit professionals leading the development and implementation of the California Rebuilding Fund. She has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion, and currently serves as Chair of the Latinx Affinity Group for the San Francisco office.

Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. In addition to producing events, conferences, and publications including Power Issue, Caucus Issue, Hot List, and Legal Diversity Issue, they collaborate with media organizations to publish reports and studies like Why Black Lawyers Matter.
