2022 Year in Review: Law360 Recognizes Morrison Foerster for Market-Leading Work and Diversity + Inclusion Initiatives

Law360 recently published its “2022 Year in Review: Law360 Accolades” newsletter, highlighting notable editorials published in the past year. In 2022, Morrison Foerster received many significant recognitions from Law360, including: In May, Law360 announced its Rising Stars of 2022, the publication’s annual list of 176 attorneys under 40 whose legal accomplishments belie their age. Law360 recognized senior associate Locke Bell and partner Ann Lilienthal as Rising Stars for their work in Government Contracts and Project Finance, respectively. In September, Law360 released their list of 2022 MVPs, a selection of attorneys that have distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals. Law360 named three MoFo partners MVPs of the year, including Greg Smith, John Smith, and Mark Edelstein for their work in the areas of Project Finance, Compliance, and Real Estate, respectively. Daralyn Durie, who recently joined MoFo following the merger with premier litigation boutique Durie Tangri, was also named an Intellectual Property MVP of the year.

MoFo’s D+I initiatives were also highlighted throughout the year.

In July, Law360 once again named MoFo #1 overall among firms with 601+ lawyers in its annual Diversity Snapshot. MoFo was also listed at the top of Law360’s list of the biggest law firms with the most diverse equity partners. Read about this recognition.

In August, Law360 once again named MoFo among the top firms in its Pulse 2022 Glass Ceiling Report: Women in Law. MoFo was ranked #12 among the 100 largest U.S.-based law firms surveyed in 2022. MoFo also ranks #3 on Law360’s Pulse Ceiling Smashers List – which represents the law firms having the highest representation of women in their equity partnerships – with 32.4% of women equity partners in the 601+ attorneys category.
