Whitney Lee Named to National Black Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 List
Washington, D.C. associate Whitney Lee has been named to The National Black Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 List for 2022.
Whitney Lee is an associate in the firm’s Privacy + Data Security and Crisis Management Groups. Her practice focuses on advising clients on significant cybersecurity incidents and other sensitive matters relating to national security, risk, and crisis management, including matters that involve multijurisdictional investigations, congressional oversight, and significant media attention.
Whitney has also been named a rising star in Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next” series, as a Privacy and Cybersecurity Fresh Face. In addition to her practice, Whitney runs CYREIN, a pro bono consulting and educational service for cyberstalking victims. She founded the organization in 2018, following her graduation from Columbia Law School, to address the uptick in spyware and the proliferation of home surveillance used by stalkers and domestic abusers.
The National Black Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 is an invitation-only professional development and networking association comprised of the top African American attorneys across the country. The organization recognizes influential attorneys from each state who promote its mission through their outstanding efforts in their respective practice areas.
