Morrison Foerster Ranks Highly in Law360 Pulse’s 2022 Glass Ceiling Report: Women in Law
Law360 has once again ranked Morrison Foerster among the top firms in its Pulse 2022 Glass Ceiling Report: Women in Law. MoFo ranks #12, up from #13 in 2021, among 88 of the 100 largest U.S.-based law firms surveyed in 2022. MoFo also ranks #3 on Law360 Pulse’s Ceiling Smashers list—which represents the law firms having the highest representation of women in their equity partnerships—with 32.4% of women equity partners in the 601+ attorneys category.
The goal of Law360’s 2022 Glass Ceiling Report is to evaluate the representation of female attorneys across the legal industry. To determine pipeline scores, Law360 assessed the proportion of women at firms’ equity partner, nonequity partner, and associate levels. According to Law360, “this year’s score also adds in an assessment of firms’ female counsel and staff attorneys.” A total of 291 firms were evaluated and ranked within one of four headcount groups with similarly sized peers.
While there is still much work to be done within the legal industry to close the gender gap, MoFo’s recognition by Law360 is a testament to the fact that MoFo is making continued efforts to achieve gender parity at the top levels with increased opportunities for women.
