Daily Journal has named San Francisco securities litigation partner Christin Hill to its list of 2021 Top Under 40 lawyers.
Christin is a rising star in securities litigation, regularly representing Fortune 500 companies in complex securities class actions. A former senior counsel at a major multinational technology company, Christin has since successfully established herself as a top private practice litigator. Possessing over a decade of experience representing public companies and their boards of directors and officers, she regularly acts on matters ranging from securities fraud and derivatives actions to SEC enforcement actions and internal investigations. She recently won a motion to dismiss for Oracle’s board of directors in a derivative action in the Northern District of California, and played a significant role in securing a major victory for Precision Castparts Corp. and its CEO and CFO in a section 10(b) securities class action.
Christin is also active in MoFo’s recruitment and retention initiatives and regularly serves as a mentor to summer associates as part of the firm’s Summer Associate Program. She is a champion of the legal community’s diversity and inclusion efforts and currently serves as a member of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Northern California and is a member of the board of directors for the East Bay Community Law Clinic.
In 2020, she was a fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
