MoFo Represents Axalta in £428M Acquisition of U-POL

Morrison & Foerster is representing Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. (NYSE: AXTA) (“Axalta”) in its acquisition of 100 percent of the share capital of U-POL Holdings Limited for £428 million in cash (approximately US$590 million). 

Axalta is a global leader in the paints and coatings industry, providing customers with paints and coatings for a broad range of applications including light vehicles, commercial vehicles, vehicle refinish, building facades, and other industrial applications.

U-POL, based in the United Kingdom, is a leading manufacturer of repair and refinish products primarily for automotive refinish and aftermarket protective applications.
