MoFo advised Princeton Digital Group on its plan to operate a multi-phase data center campus to be developed in the Greater Tokyo area, with a total investment value of US$1 billion. This flagship data center campus will be located in Saitama City and is expected to reach close to 100MW of critical IT capacity. Construction is expected to start later in 2021.
Princeton Digital Group is a leading data center and internet infrastructure provider, and their data centers are powering the fastest-growing digital economies across Asia. Japan is the fifth market that they have entered since their formation four years ago and this recently announced development is part of their longer term plan for expansion into Japan. Headquartered in Singapore, Princeton Digital Group’s portfolio of data centers also extends to China, Singapore, India, and Indonesia.
