MoFo Advises Wentworth Management Services in Acquisition of World Equity Group
Morrison & Foerster advised Wentworth Management Services LLC (“Wentworth”), a growing aggregator of broker-dealers across the U.S., on its acquisition of World Equity Group, an independent broker-dealer based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The transaction closed on May 20, 2021.
Wentworth is a long-term owner and operating partner for broker-dealers and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms in the independent wealth management channel. The transaction will expand Wentworth’s footprint in the Midwest and add approximately 180 financial advisors and nearly $40 million in revenue.
