Morrison & Foerster is representing Generate Capital in its recently announced $1 billion fundraise to continue to scale its renewable, sustainable infrastructure fleet. New investors includes, among others, leading institutions focused on infrastructure, such as AustralianSuper, QIC of Queensland, Railways Pension Scheme of Scotland, and AP2 of Sweden.
Generate builds, owns, operates, and finances sustainable infrastructure that delivers affordable and reliable resource solutions for companies, governments and communities. Over the last five years, Generate has built more than $1 billion in sustainable infrastructure assets across the energy, waste, water and transport markets.
The MoFo deal team is led by San Francisco corporate partner Suz Mac Cormac, and includes San Diego associate Shai Kalansky and San Francisco associates Benjamin T. R. Fox, Michael Santos, and Olga Terets.
