Daralyn Durie, honored by the Daily Journal as a top woman lawyer, published an article in the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers issue that underscored the gender inequalities in law and recounted uphill battles she and other women lawyers have had to climb as attorneys in a male-dominated industry.
She wrote, “I am glad to be on a list of women lawyers, in no small part because it seems to be a necessary step to creating a world in which there are just lists of lawyers who are good at something.”
