Stuart Alford is a partner based in the Corporate Group.Stuart’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, reorganizations and general corporate advisory matters. He has particular experience in the technology space, and regularly advises European, Asian and U.S.-based clients on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions and investments.Prior to joining Morrison Foerster in 2017, Stuart trained and practiced in the London and Hong Kong offices of an international law firm. During that appointment, he was seconded to a leading investment bank where he assisted with a range of transactions across Europe and the Middle East.Stuart received his M.A. (Hons.) degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews, and his law degree from the College of Law, London. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Simon Arlington is a partner based in the Corporate Group focusing on M&A and private equity.Simon represents clients across all aspects of M&A and private equity, including raising capital, acquisitions, disposals, investments, and joint ventures, together with corporate governance, portfolio company transactions, and incentive schemes.He focuses on complex cross-border matters, and his experience spans several industry sectors, including food & agriculture, retail, pharmaceuticals and biotech, financial services, natural resources, real estate, and technology.Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Simon worked at several international law firms. He has spent time on secondment at a PE fund with global interests in the natural resources and energy sector and trained at a magic circle law firm.

Emma Bosworth is an Of Counsel based in the London office of Morrison Foerster, a member of the Corporate M&A Group, and a co-chair of the ESG + Sustainability Associates Committee.Emma advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and general corporate advisory matters. She has broad experience advising domestic and international clients on large complex cross-border and domestic transactions across various industries, including financial services, real estate, automotive and pharmaceuticals.After being awarded her LLB (Hons.) from the University of Exeter in 2008, Emma completed the Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School in 2009.
