Session 4: Licensing, Collaborations, Commercial Transactions, and Regulatory Essentials
Presented By: Matt Karlyn and Brigid Bondoc
Licensing and collaboration agreements are essential to the growth of emerging companies seeking new opportunities to expand their capabilities and optimize technology. However, with every transaction comes risk and an abundance of challenges. This panel will focus on trends in biotech licensing and deal making, including working with universities, regulatory hurdles, economic structures to optimize growth, and strategic commercial pathways to minimize risk. We will address issues from both a licensor and licensee perspective. Using a variety of case studies and real-world examples, our speakers will discuss best practices, common pitfalls, and strategies for effectively negotiating agreements to maximize value and minimize risk.
MOFORUM
Program participants are also invited to our annual MoForum event, set to take place on May 7 at The Newbury Hotel Boston. This free, one-day program brings together leading investors, innovators, and strategists from across the life sciences industry to explore the critical business, legal, and regulatory developments transforming the life sciences ecosystem.
