UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology’s Startup Studio is launching its Spring 2025 Course, Intellectual Property and Legal Essentials for Innovators & Entrepreneurs, running weekly from April 15 to May 13.
Led by Morrison Foerster partner Anita Choi and joined by a team of patent, technology transaction, and corporate attorneys, this course equips innovators and entrepreneurs in the technology space with critical intellectual property and legal knowledge. Through a dynamic mix of lectures, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies, participants will gain a solid foundation in IP law, with a special focus on patents, technology developments, and licensing strategies. The course also covers IP protection, due diligence, and startup formation—key skills for launching and safeguarding new ventures.
