Securities Enforcement Forum (SEF) West is a one-day conference that brings together hundreds of current and former senior U.S. Securities and Exchange (SEC) officials, securities enforcement and white-collar attorneys, in-house counsel and compliance executives, and other top professionals in the field. This year, SEF West was held on May 23, 2024. In case you were unable to attend, or you would like to revisit any part of the discussion, recordings for each session are now available.
Jordan Eth, co-chair of MoFo’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense group, spoke on the Directors’ Panel at 1:30 p.m. PDT, which featured insights from the Chief of the Northern District of California's Corporate and Securities Fraud Section and the Regional Directors of SEC's San Francisco and Los Angeles offices (view the recording).
Craig Martin, former SEC enforcement attorney and co-chair of MoFo’s Investigations + White Collar Defense and ESG + Sustainability practice groups, spoke on a panel titled “Financial Disclosure and Accounting Fraud” at 2:30 p.m. PDT, which included insights from the Assistant Regional Director of SEC’s San Francisco office and various former SEC enforcement attorneys.
