A Year In: Navigating SEC Cyber Rules and Increased Liability for Senior Executives and the Board

Haima Marlier, co-chair of MoFo’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White Collar Defense Group, joined a virtual West LegalEdcenter panel titled “A Year In: Navigating SEC Cyber Rules and Increased Liability for Senior Executives and the Board”. Haima and her co-panelists reviewed SEC’s rules on Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosure on Public Companies, which were released in June 2023. The panel also discussed the goals of these rules, the current threat landscape, and best practices for mitigating risk and liability and managing cybersecurity threats.
