On December 12, Morrison Foerster partners Scott Lesmes and Haima Marlier will speak on multiple panels at PLI's Annual Disclosure Documents 2023: Current Developments and Best Practices, taking place both virtually and in person at PLI New York.
Haima Marlier will be speaking on the panel "Learnings from Enforcement and the Impact on Disclosure Practices." This panel will discuss the enforcement developments of 2023 and best practices attorneys have developed as a result.
Scott Lesmes will serve as a chair of the conference, providing opening remarks and speaking on the panels "SEC Division of Corporation Finance Developments’ Impact on Annual Disclosure Requirements," "ESG and Other Disclosure Developments," "Analysis of the 2023 Proxy Season and Shareholder Proposals," "Developments and Best Practices in Executive Compensation," "Learnings from Enforcement and the Impact on Disclosure Practices," and "Ethics and Whistleblower Developments: Challenges Related to Preparing and Reviewing Disclosure Documents."
PLI's one-day Annual Disclosure Documents 2023: Current Developments and Best Practices conference will highlight the important changes and updates over the past year in disclosure requirements. The program will enable attendees to better understand recent SEC rule changes and proposals, gain insight into the 2023 shareholder proposal season and expectations for 2024, identify enforcement priorities and their impact on disclosure practices, and anticipate and identify the legal ethical considerations that arise when preparing disclosures.
