ACI Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference 2023

On December 5, 2023, Erin Bosman will speak on the “Uncovering the Product Liability Risks Associated with AI in Drug Development and Medical Device Usage” panel at 11:15 a.m. ET. This panel will discuss groundbreaking developments within the life sciences industry, concerns as to the accuracy of AI applications, and the associated risks and potential product liability implications.

On December 6, 2023, Julie Park will speak on the Track A Panel: “Examining the Rise in ‘Non-Traditional’ Liability Theories in Drug and Medical Device Product Liability Cases” at 12:00 p.m. ET. Speakers will discuss how the defense can prepare for the latest plaintiffs’ attempts to circumvent traditional liability theories in drug and medical device claims, in addition to examining the ways plaintiffs are manipulating theories and how to combat them.
